The Quad Marin Clubs: March 10, 2025

Dear Member,

So many new members to welcome to the Club and our newsletter—happy you’re here!

Monthly Mentions

Today’s edition is all about community. Study after study has shown us that social connection is essential for our mental and physical health. A recent study from the University of Kansas found that having just one meaningful conversation with a friend can boost happiness, lower stress, and reduce feelings of loneliness.

Community also plays a role in longevity. When you boil down the research—from Sardinia to Okinawa—it’s all about purpose, community, and soup. I will happily take all three.

At the Bay Club, we are all about community—your community. That’s why we launched Shared Membership, and that’s why we’re now expanding it.

This month, we’re beta testing an extension of Shared Membership, increasing the number of people on your membership from 6 to 8. As we roll this out, we are going to listen and learn: Does having more people on your membership create the experience you’re looking for?

From expanding your pickleball crew, to adding your kid’s friends, or including more family members, now through March 31, you can add up to 7 people to your membership—for a total of 8 in your community.*

And now, with daylight savings here and the weather warming up, there are even more opportunities to spend time together—enjoying outdoor amenities or unwinding after a workout.

Let us know what you think. Hope to see you (and your community) at the Club soon.

Warmly,

Tracy L Cioffi
