We’re almost halfway through the month. Have you checked out the April Club Perk? This month’s perk focuses on mental toughness as part of our commitment to your well-being. It’s Easter week, and we have lots of fun activities planned for the whole family. Hop into the Club for Kids in the Kitchen or join us for the ultimate egg decorating event.

Possible Power Outage
PG&E will be conducting maintenance near Bay Club Pleasanton and has notified us that a planned power outage may be in effect on Tuesday, April 12, from 9:00 am-10:00 am and 4:00 pm-5:00 pm. As everyone’s safety is our top priority, we will ask all members to vacate the premises in the event of a power outage.

Mondays & Wednesdays, 10:15 am | $180 for 6 weeks
A new session begins Monday, April 18! Join our certified Personal Trainers and Group Fitness instructors, Jen Bayliss and Julia Clapham, every Monday and Wednesday at 10:15 am on the EDGE. This 6-week training program is designed for all fitness levels to help you burn calories, shed pounds, increase endurance, and build strength. Limited space is available. Summer camp’s around the corner, but there’s also a Single-Day Camp on Monday, April 18! What do your kids have planned for their day off? Bring ‘em here! There’ll be fun, games, and more.   • Monday, April 18 | Single Day Camp | $68 per child

Camps are available for children ages 5-12 years old, and run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Before-care and after-care are available for Summer Camps only from 8:00 am-9:00 am and 4:00 pm-5:00 pm.

Kids Programming
We have a lot in store for you and the little ones. Register for any of the following programs, workshops, and camps by visiting Bay Club Connect. Basketball Clinics | Monday & Wednesdays from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm
Each session will introduce the basics of dribbling, shooting, and gameplay through various games and drills in this fun basketball club. Ages 6-12. $180 per child.

Kids in the Kitchen | Tuesday, April 12 | 4:00 pm-6:00 pm
Drop your child off at the Bay Club for a fun and creative way to play and enjoy food. Your child will take home recipes to make again with the family at home. Drop-off will be in the KidFit Studio, have your PIN number ready! Parents may leave the property while their child is attending the program. Book this program in the Kids Camp section of the app under Workshops.

Egg Decorating Lunch | Saturday, April 16 | 12:00 pm-2:00 pm
Hop on over to have lunch with us as we decorate eggs and create spring crafts together! We will meet in KidsWorld. Please have spare clothes as we might get a little messy. Book this program in the Kids Camp section of the app under Workshops. Ages 3-12.

Kids’ Night Out | Friday, April 29 | 6:00 pm-8:00 pm
Spend some time away or finish a great exercise routine while your kids participate in a safe and fun-filled evening with activities, pizza, and a movie with some popcorn. Ages 4-12.

Parties & Events

Splash or Sports Party
Let Bay Club host your next party. Whether the occasion is a birthday, team party, or just a friendly get-together, this is an excellent option for your friends and family to enjoy! Tennis, Wine, & Cheese Social | Thursday, April 28 | 7:00 pm
Come join the management team and our Bay Club Pleasanton tennis community every last Thursday of each month from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm in the tennis lounge for some complimentary snacks and a glass of wine. There’s no need to make a reservation. We look forward to seeing you there!

Fitter and Faster Aquatics Camp | Saturday-Sunday, April 30-May 1
If you have not had a chance to register for the Fitter and Faster Comprehensive Freestyle Racing Swim Camp at Bay Club Pleasanton, now is the time! You don’t want to miss the opportunity to attend this fantastic camp led by Olympian Atiba Wade. He is amazing, and his knowledge will take your swimmer to the next level. We hosted Atiba at Bay Club Redwood Shores last year with great success. Each session is limited to only 24 participants. So, secure your swimmer’s spot as soon as you can! Click here for details and registration.

Swim Team Registration Now Open
Swimmers ages 3+ will benefit from learning lifelong skills while having fun along the way! Practices begin Monday, May 23, in the Lap Pool. There will be five local swim meets, including the championship meet on Saturday, July 23. Please read this welcome letter before registering.

Masters Swim | Lap Pool | Ages 18+
Our Masters Swim Team offers a fun and rigorous competitive program with daily 75-minute training sessions for both pool and open water swimmers/triathletes. We swim about 2 miles per session, and all of our coaches lead the workouts from the water. Our trained coaches offer a variety of training techniques emphasizing a team-oriented experience. To participate, you need to be 18 years of age and should be able to swim a minimum of 500 yards in 10 minutes. For more information, contact Masters Swim Coach Jan at jan.frydendahl@bayclubs.com.

Aquatics Stroke & Conditioning | Ages 6+
This program provides essential preparation for competitive swimming and excellent cross-training for other sports. Before you enroll, your child must be able to swim a 25-yard lap of freestyle and backstroke. Additionally, participants are required to attend an hour-long swim practice. The below offerings have a Monday/Wednesday or a Tuesday/Thursday option.

  • Level 1 | Ages 6-9 | 4:00 pm-5:00 pm
  • Level 2 | Ages 8-11 | 4:00 pm-5:00 pm
  • Level 3 | Ages 11-18 | 5:00 pm-6:00 pm

Volleyball Programming

Intro to Volleyball | Thursdays | 5:00 pm-6:00 pm
This course offers the fundamentals of volleyball. Participants will learn the basic rules and techniques of the game. We will build hitting, passing, setting, and serving skills throughout the entirety of our clinics. Ages 7-12 years old.

Intermediate/Advanced Clinics | Thursdays | 6:00 pm-7:00 pm
This course offers the fundamentals of volleyball. Participants will learn the basic rules and techniques of the game. We will build hitting, passing, setting, and serving skills throughout the entirety of our clinics. Ages 9-14 years old.

Volleyball Drop-Ins | North Court | Thursdays | 7:00 pm-9:00 pm
Drop-in games are designed for all levels and intended for open play. Six-on-six volleyball is welcome during available non-assigned gym time. All players must be present and provide a polite 5-minute courtesy warning to other users before assuming the court. This schedule is subject to change. Special activities may take priority and are typically posted in advance. Management reserves the right to modify gym usage priorities. Open to all ages. Guest fees apply.

Competitive Basketball League | Mondays | 6:00 pm-9:00 pm
Teams are chosen in a standard six-round private draft format conducted by team captains. Players are not present. Teams are not determined until the night of the draft. Any player not selected may opt for the Recreational League instead. A Reversible numbered Bay Club jersey is required and available for purchase at The Shop and may be used in future seasons. Weekly games are scheduled at 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, and 8:00 pm during a 10-12 week season, excluding holidays. Ages 18+.

Recreational Basketball League | Wednesdays | 6:00 pm-9:00 pm
Teams are chosen in a standard six-round private draft format conducted by team captains and not determined until the night of the draft. Players are not present. Any player not selected may opt for the Competitive League instead. A reversible numbered Bay Club jersey is required and available for purchase at The Shop and may be used in future seasons. Weekly games are scheduled at 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, and 8:00 pm during a 10-12 week season, excluding holidays. Ages 18+

Sports Bar Hours
The Sports Bar is open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm as well as on Sundays from 3:30 pm-6:00 pm. Come watch your favorite sporting events and socialize with great company!

Kidding Around
Fresh from the glow of beachfront yoga, Marissa heads back to the mat in this month’s Marissa Tries. This time, she’s joined by furry friends named Doc and Gizmo. Bends and lunges take on a new dimension when paired with the prancing and pawing of little hooves. Yes, it’s goat yoga! Sweet baby goats bring animal magnetism to the studio in this special class held at select locations. They’re so cute, it could be tough to say good baaaaa. See the video here.
