Your Weekly East Bay Clubs Update: April 17, 2023

Dear Member,

Monthly Mentions

Calling All Spring Breakers….wait…Spring Break has come and gone…and with that, comes the excitement (or fear!) of summer being right around the corner. We are here to support all families with the best summer camps around. We have worked hard this year to ensure we are ready to delight those, big and small, with activities and sports to suit any discerning kiddo. From swimming to squash to ice cream sandwiches and dance parties, we have it all! Check out our full line-up.

Hot Kicks–Right around this time of year, the “it” shoe always emerges. A few years ago, it was the Bottega Veneta padded heel. But this season, the breakout shoe is thankfully much simpler: it’s a classic sneaker that retails for about $100. So, what is the said shoe? It’s the Adidas Samba low tops. Originally launched in 1950, these retro runners have a sporty look that have made them a best seller for years. As with all of our mentions, no affiliations here; just passing on the good stuff.

Love our Earth–This Saturday is the 53rd Earth Day! Check out this article on great ways to appreciate and celebrate our natural world.

Things We’re Loving

We are always looking for great snacks with clean ingredients to share with our Community. Today’s feature comes all the way from Australia, where a mom and dad teamed up to create yummy chips without the top allergens and artificial ingredients. After two years of testing recipes, The Good Crisp Company was born. And oh my, did they nail it. Step aside, Pringles!

These chips in the tall round canisters are sure to please…the stacked chips come in 5 flavors–we are partial to the Sour Cream + Onion. Pretty easy to find at your local market, Whole Foods, or online at Thrive Markets. Chip, chip hooray! (Strangely enough, today is National Cheese Ball Day, and they have those too!).

Ponder This

Summer, fall, winter, spring,
The seasons rotate as each brings
Its special beauty to this Earth of ours.
Winter’s snow and summer’s flowers;
Frozen rivers will flow come spring,
There is a renewal of everything.
