Your Weekly Portland Club Update: August 23, 2022
Dear Member,
As summer winds down, are you settling back into your normal routine? Take a break from your busy schedule at the Club. Enjoy some time alone with dinner and a night out, or get the whole family together for one of our fun events. Check out our new after-school programs and weekend activities for kids of all ages.
What’s Happening at the Club This Week?
Adult Night at the Pool
Thursday, August 25 | 5:00 pm–8:00 pm
Stop by the Cabana for happy hour and enjoy some music from our DJ—featuring classic rock and 80s pop for some great summer vibes. The Outdoor Pool & Deck will be reserved for adult use during this time.
Wild For Wibit
Friday, August 26 | 3:00 pm-6:30 pm
Check out the inflatable obstacle course in our Indoor Pool. Can your kiddos make it through? Come find out! Kids must pass the swim safety test to participate.
Family Fun Friday: Marmaduke
Friday, August 26 | 5:00 pm–8:00 pm
Head on up to the restaurant for a dinner buffet and a family-friendly movie, Marmaduke. The movie starts at 5:30 pm. The buffet is $10 for children; our regular menu items will also be available.
Dish of the Day
Friday, August 26
Pasta entrees are coming back! This week, we will serve two varieties:
- Fettuccine pasta with toasted hazelnut pesto, olive oil, sun-dried tomatoes, and parmesan cheese. Recommended pairings include sauvignon blanc or pinot noir.
- Fettuccine Bolognese served with sautéed mushrooms and bell peppers, olives, and spinach, topped with parmesan cheese. Recommended pairings include chardonnay or merlot.
Both dishes will have the option to include chicken or shrimp for an additional $4. Stay tuned for more Dishes of the Day every Friday.

Stay fit, healthy, and cool with a refreshing morning dip in the water. The Outdoor Pool & Deck is reserved for adults during this time period.
Kids Climb Time

Intro to Pickleball Clinics
Mondays & Wednesdays, Starts September 7 | 6:30 pm-8:00 pm
Is your child new to pickleball? Sign them up for the Beginner Intro to Pickleball Clinics, where they will learn the rules of the game and the basics of play from an experienced coach. No experience is necessary, and all equipment is provided. Ages 8-12. Cost: $225/month
Back to School Fitness Elevate Session
Starts Wednesday, September 7

Adidas Employee Store Discount
For the month of August, enjoy access to the Adidas Employee Store. To access the employee store, please present your membership on Bay Club Connect along with a valid photo ID. Guests may bring up to four additional friends or family members per visit. The employee store is located at 2701 NW Vaughn St., Suite 290, Portland, OR 97210. The store is open weekdays from 10:00 am-9:00 pm and on weekends from 9:00 am-9:00 pm.
