The Quad Portland: July 7, 2025
Dear Member,
So many new members to welcome to the Club and our newsletter—happy you’re here!
![]() |
We’re officially one week into July. How did that happen? Have you planned your Baycation yet? Check out the latest Marissa Tries as she stays close to home but feels miles away, enjoying a long weekend at Ross Valley, Gateway, and Santa Clara.
Have you noticed a very cool crew of twenty-somethings touring the clubs recently? That’s our Sports, Outdoor Recreation, and Active Lifestyle Interns. For four weeks, we expose this group to world-class leaders in sports, hospitality, private equity, and more. From behind-the-scenes tours to candid conversations, this experience is designed to give them a 360-degree view of the active lifestyle industry. Yes—you can align your work and your passion. As this email hits your inbox, they’re at Nike HQ in Portland. Where was this when I was in college?
Lastly, for anyone based in NorCal or traveling (perhaps on your Baycation)… get ready for an unforgettable day of world-class soccer in the heart of San Francisco! Our friends at Bay FC, our local women’s professional soccer team, are hosting a historic match at Oracle Park—home of the San Francisco Giants. On Saturday, August 23 at 1:00 pm, Bay FC takes on the Washington Spirit at one of the most iconic venues in sports, where every seat offers stunning views of the San Francisco Bay. With less than two months until The Show at Oracle Park, presented by Visa, now’s the time to rally your crew and lock in your seats! Learn more here. Bay Club Associates will be there in force—hope you will be too!
