Now, let’s perk up your protein. 

We know everyone’s trying to pack more protein into their day. And we also know that most people start their day with coffee…so why not combine the two and make it enjoyable?

Adding protein to your morning brew is all the rage, but there are definitely some learnings to share. Rest assured: I’ve done all the testing for you.

The big unlock? Protein powder coagulates in hot liquids. So, the night before, make a latte (organic almond milk preferred) and pop it in the fridge. Or, like I often do, just buy a latte and put it in the fridge. Always good to be honest.

In the morning, get out your blender and add your protein powder + creatine (bonus!) + latte + ice—and blend away. Best coffee milkshake ever. And 20+ grams of protein to kick off your day.

My preferred protein powder: Truvani (organic, only 5 ingredients, plant-based). Love the Vanilla and Chocolate flavors.
