A Little TLC
The latest trend in wellness is one that I wholeheartedly support: active recovery. Research estimates that 90% of illness and disease are stress related. Therefore, prioritizing active recovery is essential for us to stay well. Active recovery isn’t about binge-watching TV or mindless doom-scrolling on social media. Active recovery is meditation, breathwork, walking, being in nature, and spending time with your community.
We’ve recently launched Recovery zones in several of our Clubs and will continue to focus on this area of wellness because we believe in the importance of Recovery as much as the workout. Even if it’s just for 20 minutes a day, let’s make it a priority.
