Your Weekly Santa Clara Club Update: October 30, 2023

Dear Member,

Monthly Mentions

All Hallows’ Eve – …eve tradition! Need a fun tradition for tonight? Watch a classic like Hocus Pocus or Halloweentown. Or go with something fresher like Ghostbusters: Afterlife. It’s surprisingly good!

Costumes we’re loving –Top couple goes to Taylor and Travis (Barbie and Ken not far behind). Most creative (and yucky) goes to Bed Bugs in Paris. Or perhaps a centenarian (aligned with the Blue Zone trend). Hopefully we will see your creativity at the Club tomorrow!

What are we eating – Pumpkin seeds! They are one of the best natural sources of magnesium, a mineral that’s important for keeping blood pressure in check. They’re also a good source of several other minerals, unsaturated fats, and fiber. For an extra fiber boost, you can even eat the whole seeds with the shells intact: toss with a little olive oil, spread on a cookie sheet, and bake at 300° F for 30 to 40 minutes.

What’s Next – Excited to share that we are launching our Toys for Tots Program on Wednesday, November 1. Let’s make it our best year yet!
