Important Updates from Your Club: Santa Clara

Dear Member,

As you plan your next visit to the Club, you’ll be excited to hear that general club reservations are no longer required–so drop on in whenever you can and stay for as long as you want! We look forward to seeing you.

Locker rooms are open! We hope you’ve enjoyed having the convenience of these spaces available, and expect steam rooms, saunas, and whirlpools to reopen this week.

More Club Updates…

Front Entrance
We are happy to announce that we are installing touchless, sliding doors for the front entrance. The work is scheduled for Thursday, April 14 from 8:00 am-8:00 pm. Signage and staff will direct members to an alternative entrance during this time. Please allow a few extra minutes upon arrival for the check-in process. We appreciate your patience.

Complimentary Coffee
Enjoy a cup on us every morning until 10:30 am–served with a smile by our fan-favorites, Nadine and Elyza.

Pools and Jacuzzis
Outdoor pools and jacuzzies are open and no longer require a reservation. Members can enter lanes on a first-come, first-serve basis. We ask that members of the same household share a lane and members do not attempt to reserve a lane by leaving their belongings. Recreational swimmers can share spaces with appropriate social distancing. Swimmers can share a lane if they feel comfortable doing so while maintaining social distancing.

Group Fitness
We are working to add classes, adjust times, and relocate classes indoors based on your feedback. Click here for our online schedule. Upcoming changes include:

  • Dance formats weekday mornings–stay tuned!
  • AquaFit, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 am–Starting May 1
  • Yoga, Body Flow, and select dance classes to move indoors

Contact our Director of Group Fitness, Mingmay Chang at with any questions.

A Final Note…
Just a reminder that reservations are not required to visit. Our expansive spaces and distanced equipment offer plenty of room to move around comfortably—and we have more than enough amenities to go around! However, we do recommend that you confirm your space in our more impacted group exercise classes through Bay Club Connect.

Our updated mask guidelines, in accordance with the department of health, are as follows: Masks are required to be worn indoors at all times unless you are actively exercising and practicing social distancing. When walking from one space to the next, your face covering must be worn.

While outdoors, masks are required when you are not able to maintain social distance from persons outside your household.

Should you have any questions, please reach out by replying to this email. Thank you for being a member of the Bay Club Community and we look forward to seeing you this week!
