It’s Super!
A new list of Super Foods was just released. While Super Foods are not a group recognized by the FDA or USDA, it’s a term that simply refers to those foods that are exceptionally high in vital nutrients. The new top 10 list: fermented foods, blueberries, seeds, avocado, nuts, green tea, pulses, mushrooms, ancient grains, and salmon. Read more here!

A Little T.L.C.

There is so much information out there regarding our health and wellness, but this interview with Dr. Mark Hyman, my all-time favorite Functional Medicine Doc, is worth the read. It outlines what he does each day to stay in the best shape of his life at 63. It’s not full of anti-aging gimmicks—it’s pro-aging advice! Links for most of his recommended products are listed. He does say he drinks an electrolyte in the morning, I love LMNT. As for Creatine, I’m a big fan of Thorne. Check out his interview here.

Ponder This

“The power of community to create health is far greater than any physician, clinic, or hospital.”
~ Dr. Mark Hyman
