Your Weekly San Francisco Club Update: January 16, 2023

Dear Member,

Can you believe we’re halfway through January? The Clubs are BUSY, and we couldn’t be more pleased–our usage has surpassed 2019 levels! Go Bay Club!

To help you achieve your wellness vision, we have some great activities planned for you this week. As a reminder, we are all a part of the same community, so let’s take care of our shared space. We kindly ask that you please rack weights, clean equipment after each use, and follow all policies regarding cell phones.

We LOVE having you all back and are pleased to welcome so many new folks too! Whether you’re looking to sweat it out in a fitness class, spend time with family, or make new friends at a social event, we have you covered. Check out this week’s events below!

What’s Happening at the Club This Week?

If you’re visited Bay Club San Francisco after work hours on the weekdays, you’ve noticed how many members are using the club at this time. We’re so happy to have welcomed so many new members recently. We encourage you to check out our many studios at Bay Club San Francisco (and the rooftop once the rain clears) so you’re aware of all the great places to get your workout in. Need a club tour? Visit our Membership Desk across from the check-in station, and we’d be happy to show you around!

Also included in Executive Club memberships and above is full access to Bay Club Financial District at 555 California. FIDI continues to expand group exercise offerings with classes, such as Power Hour, IGNITE, and Guns and Buns. We also validate parking after 5:00 pm at Bay Club FIDI – check us out! If your membership does not currently include Bay Club FIDI, contact our Club Manager Jessica Frianela at to arrange a club visit.

Etiquette Reminders

Bay Club San Francisco:

Parking Garage Etiquette
Please remember to place your parking slip face up on your car’s dashboard displaying your member number while you are parked in the Bay Club Parking Garage. As a reminder, members and guests using the facilities are allowed to park in the garage up to 3 hours. Additionally, please be advised the Levi’s parking garage is open from 6:00 am-8:00 pm Monday-Friday.

Swim Team Families
Please remember that all children must be supervised in the locker rooms or while they are waiting for their lesson. No child of the opposite gender over 4 years old is allowed in the locker rooms. Please ask an associate at the front desk to show you the gender-neutral restroom located by the cardio machines.

Rooftop Etiquette
As we enter the Winter and Spring months, the roof may be closed due to weather. We ask that you please follow signage and do not go on the roof if it is closed. It is for the safety of all members.

Locker Room Etiquette
As a reminder, cell-phone use is absolutely prohibited in the locker rooms, including the sauna, steam room and hot tub. Please do your part to respect other members using the facilities.

Swimming Etiquette
It is required to rinse your body in the showers before entering the pools. Additionally, if there is a wait time for the pool you are limited to 30-minutes of swim time.

Bay Club Financial District:

Cell Phone Use
Cell phone use has an impact on the quality of the member experience and their privacy. Cell phone use is permitted only in the Main Lobby. Please refrain from conversing on speaker phone or FaceTime in public gathering spaces. Silent cell phone use only (no phone calls) is permitted on the fitness floor. Cell phone use is also not permitted in the locker rooms or the group exercise studios.

Fitness Floor Etiquette
The Club reserves the right to deny the use of the Fitness Center to anyone not willing or able to use fitness equipment properly and safely. Shirts and closed-toe shoes are always required. As a courtesy to others, please return mats and weights to their designated areas, place trash and towels in the appropriate receptacles, and limit your cardio workout to 30 minutes when others are waiting for a machine. Additionally, we ask that you allow others to work in when using strength training equipment.
