Dear Member,

We hope your holiday weekend was filled with joy, magic, and everything nice! To keep the festive spirit going, we plan on continuing the fun through the end of the year. We hope you join us for one of our many exciting and uplifting classes and other fun happenings throughout the Club.

What’s Happening at the Club This Week?

Bay Club San Francisco:

After-School Aquatics and New Classes
– Parent-Tot Swim (New Class)
New class has been added to Tuesday mornings at 10:30 am.
– Adult Beginner Swim (New Class)
New class is now offered Thursdays at 6:15 pm. Class can be found on Bay Club Connect under “plan a visit,” then select Bay Club San Francisco. Space is limited.
– Swim School
Monday–Friday | 3:30 pm–6:00 pm
Beginner to advanced classes offered daily. Visit Bay Club Connect for full class schedule and details.
– Swim Team
At Gateway and Bay Club San Francisco.
Practices are held 2 to 3 days per week and up to 2 hours, with Coach Julie. Visit Bay Club Connect for full class schedule and details.

Winter Basketball League | Sign-Ups
Every Fridays | 5:00 pm–9:00 pm \ Sign-Ups Now Open
The League starts on January 16 and will run for six weeks on Mondays (A-League) and Wednesdays (B-League) with games from 6:00 pm–10:00 pm. Please complete the required form here by January 7, 2023. Spots are limited. Contact basketball.bcsf@bayclubs.com with any questions.

Gateway Winter Break Camp
Week 2 | December 26–30
It’s not too late to sign your kiddo up for the Winter Break camp. Flexible date options are available for them to enjoy tennis, swimming, pickleball, arts and crafts and making new friends. Sign up on Bay Club Connect.

After-School Aquatics and New Classes
Don’t miss our After-School Aquatics programs. January, February, and March programs are now available for registration at Bay Club Connect under “Sports & Fitness Clinics.”
– Parent-Tot Swim (New Class)
New class has been added to Tuesday mornings at 10:30 am at Bay Club San Francisco and Saturday morning at 9:00 am at Bay Club Gateway.
– Stroke School (New Class)
New class offered every Tuesday at 6:30 pm and every Thursday at 6:00 pm. Join instructor Andrea in our new program that will give your swimmer the boost they need before they join our Panthers team.
– Swim School
Monday–Friday | 3:30 pm–6:00 pm

– Swim Team
At Gateway and Bay Club San Francisco

Bay Club South San Francisco:

Pickleball Tournament
Saturday, January 7 | 9:00 am
Join us for a men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles in MLP (Major League Pickleball) format. Eight teams of four (including 1 captain) with two men and two women. Matches will rotate, playing both women’s/men’s and mixed doubles.

Adult Tennis Tournament
January 12–15
Join us for a men’s and women’s UTR tennis tournament happening Thursday, January 12 through Sunday, January 15. Sign up on MyUTR.

Facilities, Operations and Personnel Updates

Host an Event at Bay Club
The beautiful and spacious event space is also available to book for any of life’s events throughout the year. Book our event space for your next birthday party, shower, or one of many life’s events and milestones, such graduations, and promotions. We can also host corporate events for team buildings like pickleball events or tennis clinics. We will gladly take on the task of planning and coordinating to make it an effortless and memorable experience as possible for you and your guests.

Etiquette Reminders

Bay Club San Francisco:

Parking Garage Etiquette
Please remember to place your parking slip face up on your car’s dashboard displaying your member number while you are parked in the Bay Club Parking Garage. As a reminder, members and guests using the facilities are allowed to park in the garage up to 3 hours. Additionally, please be advised the Levi’s parking garage is open from 6:00 am-8:00 pm Monday-Friday.

Swim Team Families
Please remember that all children must be supervised in the locker rooms or while they are waiting for their lesson. No child of the opposite gender over 4 years old is allowed in the locker rooms. Please ask an associate at the front desk to show you the gender-neutral restroom located by the cardio machines.

Rooftop Etiquette
As we enter the Winter and Spring months, the roof may be closed due to weather. We ask that you please follow signage and do not go on the roof if it is closed. It is for the safety of all members.

Locker Room Etiquette
As a reminder, cell-phone use is absolutely prohibited in the locker rooms, including the sauna, steam room and hot tub. Please do your part to respect other members using the facilities.

Swimming Etiquette
It is required to rinse your body in the showers before entering the pools. Additionally, if there is a wait time for the pool you are limited to 30-minutes of swim time.

Bay Club Financial District:

Cell Phone Use
Cell phone use has an impact on the quality of the member experience and their privacy. Cell phone use is permitted only in the Main Lobby. Please refrain from conversing on speaker phone or FaceTime in public gathering spaces. Silent cell phone use only (no phone calls) is permitted on the fitness floor. Cell phone use is also not permitted in the locker rooms or the group exercise studios.

Club Towels
We know you love our towels, so to make sure we always have plenty in stock for you to use while you are in the clubs, please be sure you drop your used towels in any of the towel return baskets.
