The Quad Manhattan Country Club: March 24, 2025
Dear Member,
So many new members to welcome to the Club and our newsletter—happy you’re here!
![]() |
Today’s edition is all about community. Study after study has shown us that social connection is essential for our mental and physical health. A recent study from the University of Kansas found that having just one meaningful conversation with a friend can boost happiness, lower stress, and reduce feelings of loneliness.
Community also plays a role in longevity. When you boil down the research—from Sardinia to Okinawa—it’s all about purpose, community, and soup. I will happily take all three.
At the Bay Club, we are all about community—your community. Whether you love tennis or pickleball, wine tastings, or specialty dinners and family events throughout the year, our tight-knit community is where you can find those connections.
And now, with daylight savings here and the weather warming up, there are even more opportunities to enjoy time outdoors together. More family time at the pool. An early morning session on the courts. Cycling on the terrace. Whatever you enjoy doing with your people.
Hope to see you at the Club soon
