So begins the Christmas countdown! With the holiday fast approaching, we’re so excited to celebrate with you all the festive fun we have planned for the upcoming weeks. Join us for special classes, family events, and holiday parties through the month of December.

What’s Happening at the Club This Week?

New Member Social + Stock your Cellar Event
Wednesday, November 30 | 5:30 pm–7:30 pm

Pickleball Holiday Weekly League Dates
November 28–December 23 | $10 per day

Ugly Sweater Mixed Doubles Tennis Round-Robin
Friday, December 9 | 6:00 pm–8:30 pm | $35 per person
Start the holiday season with a non-stop night of Mixed Doubles delight! Wear your best holiday sweater, enjoy music, and have a chance to win prizes. Prizes awarded to tournament finalists and for best dressed. Fee includes a drink and tennis balls. RSVP at TopDog.

Science Night*
Saturday, December 3 | 5:00 pm–8:00 pm | Children Ages 6–12
Brrrr…winter is getting close which means we have cool science experiments in store at MCC! Your little scientist will have a chance to create their own snow and some polar-themed slime. Don’t miss out on this steller science night–dinner and hot chocolate will be available to all little scientists.

Holiday Bingo
Wednesday, Dec. 14 | 5:00 pm–7:00 pm
Join us for a family-fun night of Holiday Bingo. Come dressed in your best holiday sweaters. Dining reservations are required. To RSVP, call the Reception Desk at 310.546.5656 ext. 21.

Ornament Decorating Night
Saturday, December 17 | 5:00 pm–8:00 pm
The annual MCC Ornament Decorating Night is here! We are gearing up hundreds of ornaments for all our young creative minds to put some style into the holidays. No matter the design, we will have plenty of crafty items ready. This event will sell out quickly–be sure to make a reservation as soon as possible. Dinner will be served. Kids Culinary Night
Wednesday, December 21 | 5:00 pm–7:00 pm | Children Ages 3–13 | $25++ per child
Calling all little chefs! Join us for a culinary extravaganza where your kiddo will learn how to make a yummy pizza. With endless toppings, your little chef can create whatever they want. Space is limited. RSVP by calling the Reception Desk at 310.546.5656 ext. 211 or sign up on Bay Club Connect.

Bay Club Winter Camp
Monday, December 26–Friday January 6 | Children Ages 6–12
Winter fun is here for all MCC kids! Winter Camp will be here for two weeks as the kids are out of school–winter themed crafts and games, active games, and swimming are in store. Our camp days fill up quickly, so make sure to reserve your spots now on Bay Club Connect.

Host Your Holiday Parties with Us
The holiday season is just around the corner, and dates are filling quickly at the Club. Only a few select dates are left. Whether you are planning an intimate party for family and friends or a large corporate gathering, The Club’s experienced catering team is dedicated to making your holidays sparkle. New Pickleball clinics are available on the Bay Club Connect app under Fitness Programming > Racquet Sports. Lead by our new instructor, Cade Erickson, these clinics will be instructional with practice games to hone your skills.
– Beginner clinics requiring only basic knowledge of the rules.
– Intro to Pickleball clinics will happen the first Monday of every month. The complimentary clinic will teach you the basics of the game. Paddles and balls provided.

Facilities and Operations Updates

Pool Renovation
Our Pool and Pool Deck renovation has begun and is estimated to be completed by Saturday, December 3. Please note that while we enhance the space, all our pools will be unavailable. All swim lessons and swim team will still meet at other locations. For more information, please email our Aquatics Director, Kyle Flanders at Kyle.Flanders@bayclubs.com.

Pool Bar Services
During our Pool Renovation time frame, we will be hosting all our Pool Bar menu and drinks indoors at our restaurant upstairs. Come and enjoy all your favorites from Sunday through Monday, 9:00 am–6pm and Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm. Dinner hours in the Terrace Restaurant will remain the same–Tuesday through Saturday, 5:00 pm–9:00 pm. We look forward to seeing you!

Member Check-In

Members ages 14+ need to check in at the Host Desk with their Bay Club Connect app barcode instead of providing their 4-digit member ID.

All members have a designated member ID and need to have their own Bay Club Connect set up for check in and reservation purposes. To get assistance with setting up or logging into Bay Club Connect please email Blanca Tamayo at Blanca.Tamayo@bayclubs.com.

Guest Passes and Guest Check-In
Friendly reminder that complimentary guest passes accrued January – September of this year will expire December 31, 2022. Your guest pass balance can be found on the homepage of your Bay Club Connect account.

Our guest pass policy allows the same guest to visit up to 12 times per calendar year. Please note, all guests must provide a valid photo ID and be registered via our Digital Guest Waiver at the Host Desk. For guests that are minors, an adult member must authorize and sign our Digital Guest Waiver in person or remotely via our Digital Guest Waiver for minor guests that are authorized to use the Club with a member on your account.
– Select “Member with Minor” – include your Name and Member ID as it appears on your Bay Club Connect homepage.
– Add the guest information including their date of birth.

Holiday Happiness Toy Drive

Join us in supporting Toys for Tots now through December 20th. For other fun and easy ways to bring happiness to a child in our community this season, keep reading!

3 Easy Ways to Donate

– Bring a brand-new, unopened, unwrapped toy of your choice to the club and place it in the Toys for Tots box.

– Don’t know what toy to buy? Pick up one of our gift-idea tags at the Club and shop for the toy listed on the tag.

– Simply fill out this form with your donation amount. All monetary donations will be used to purchase a brand-new toy that will be donated to Toys for Tots.

About Toys for Tots
The 2022 holiday season marks the 75th anniversary of the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program! For over seven decades, the program has delivered hope and the magic of Christmas to over 281 million children.

Our goal this year is to help Toys for Tots in their mission by delivering 6,500 toys across our Bay Club communities.

Ways to Get Involved

– Join us for our Holiday Celebration.

Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charity. Donations are tax deductible. For toy purchases under $250 your store receipt is acceptable for IRS donation. For cash donations Bay Club will email a receipt for your donation by December 31,2022.
