Your Weekly Peninsula Clubs Update: October 30, 2023

Dear Member,

Monthly Mentions

All Hallows’ Eve – …eve tradition! Need a fun tradition for tonight? Watch a classic like Hocus Pocus or Halloweentown. Or go with something fresher like Ghostbusters: Afterlife. It’s surprisingly good!

Costumes we’re loving –Top couple goes to Taylor and Travis (Barbie and Ken not far behind). Most creative (and yucky) goes to Bed Bugs in Paris. Or perhaps a centenarian (aligned with the Blue Zone trend). Hopefully we will see your creativity at the Club tomorrow!

What are we eating – Pumpkin seeds! They are one of the best natural sources of magnesium, a mineral that’s important for keeping blood pressure in check. They’re also a good source of several other minerals, unsaturated fats, and fiber. For an extra fiber boost, you can even eat the whole seeds with the shells intact: toss with a little olive oil, spread on a cookie sheet, and bake at 300° F for 30 to 40 minutes.

What’s Next – Excited to share that we are launching our Toys for Tots Program on Wednesday, November 1. Let’s make it our best year yet!

Bird’s Eye View

We’re turning vision into reality as we continue to build our future and improve your experience. Here’s what’s coming your way at Redwood Shores.

Canteen – New Grab and Go Market
Opening on November 14, this is where convenience meets quality. You’ll have access to a variety of health-conscious snacks, refreshing drinks, fresh culinary delights, and more. Enjoy the flexibility of mobile or touchless payments, available whenever the club is open.

Local Kitchens
In the middle of the month, we will discontinue food service in the 77 Club, to prepare to welcome Local Kitchens in the Spring. They’ll be bringing your favorite restaurants under one roof, offering a diverse range of dining options that cater to every palate. We’ll keep the bar at 77 Club open until the demolition of the space begins.

Stay tuned for further updates as we bring these fantastic new options to life.
