BAY CLUB REDONDO BEACH

Book Signing with Author Suzie Newell | Monday, April 25 | 8:00 am-11:00 am
The Path 365: Daily Direction for Ladies and Mothers, Witches and Others
Suzie’s journey began with a degree in political science, specifically working in social justice. While in Guatemala during the 500 Years of Resistance campaign, she met a woman who inspired her to return to school and ultimately work in anesthesia. While this all sounds perfect on paper, she lost half her family on the journey, lost a good portion of her mind, and fell hard. She was lucky enough to get back up. The Path 365: Daily Direction for Ladies and Mothers, Witches and Others represents the culmination of a lifetime of work in health care, peer support, and her own personal journey. Find out more here.

Sound Bath & Meditation
Saturday, April 23 | 12:00 pm-1:30 pm
David Romero presents a 90-minute long breathwork, sound healing, and yoga practice. The practice of sound bathing uses percussion instruments to cleanse and clear the mind and body through focused sounds and sustained vibrations. For thousands of years, the sound bath practice has been used for healing and relaxation by both ancient and modern cultures. This practice uses crystal bowls, drums, Tibetan bowls, gongs, flutes, and various other instruments.
