Your Weekly Los Angeles Clubs Update: June 12, 2023

Dear Member,

Monthly Mentions

Baycation – Enough said…The sunny and warm pool deck is calling your name. No need for airports or long drives, just come on over. As we have said before, it’s a resort without a room key!

Summer Game –  With the kids out of school, we are always looking for ways to have fun as a family. Well, this game is as ridiculous as it sounds–Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza. I swear, you will have the entire crew laughing! Can play with 2-8 players, 5+ age-wise….and the best part is it’s the size of a deck of cards. Perfect for home, camping, or pool-side! Easy buy from Amazon, 4.8 rating, 45k people can’t be wrong, and it’s under $10.

Summer Reads – Always trying to find classic books that your kids will love reading? Here’s a list curated by kids for kids!

A Little T.L.C.

Nothing says summer like watermelon! Did you know that 100% of watermelon is usable? Yes, even the rind! Whether you’re eco-, budget-, or health-conscious (or just taste-conscious!), challenge yourself to use the whole watermelon–flesh, juice, and rind! Check out this website fully dedicated to this wonderous fruit. The recipes are amazing…from Frosé to cupcakes!

Ponder This

“If a negative thought arose, I’d repeat a positive one eight times in a row to counteract it. Soon, I began loving myself, imperfections, and all. I stopped comparing myself to others, and at last I started to look good to myself”
~ Tina Turner (1939-2023)
