What’s Happening at the Club This Week?

Bay Club Redondo Beach | Kick Boxing 101 | Starts Thursday, December 1
Tuesdays and Thursdays | 8:30 am | Boxing Studio
Join instructor Jerry Spradlin for an authentic kickboxing class. Our focus will be self-defense, the technical aspect of striking with punches, blocking, and kicking. Jerry will build fundamentals in a small group setting in our Boxing Studio. Please note this is not a cardio-kickboxing class. $40 per class–packages available. Space is limited. Bay Club El Segundo | Kids Night Out

It’s a happy Who-liday party! This drop-off event includes Grinch-themed games, crafts, bounce houses and a pizza dinner. Sign up on Bay Club Connect.

Bay Club Santa Monica | Hot Cocoa, Cookies, & Holiday Cheer
Thursday, December 1 | 5:00 pm–7:00 pm
Join us to kick off the holiday festivities with a relaxing evening at the Club. We will be decorating cookies, sipping hot cocoa, and unveiling our holiday tree. Bring an unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots and enter our raffle to win prizes. RSVP at events.bcsm@bayclubs.com.

Bay Club El Segundo | Winter Break Camp
 –  Week 1 | December 19–23 | 9:00 am–4:00 pm
–  Week 2 | December 26–30 | 9:00 am–4:00 pm
Winter Camp is coming! While schools are closed, join us for Camp throughout the holiday season. The drop-off Camp includes daily swim, soccer, recreation games, crafts, bounce house play and play time in The Clubhouse. Sign up for one day or a full week, under “Kids Programming” on Bay Club Connect.

Bay Club Redondo Beach | Run/Walk Training with Martha Light
Tuesday, December 6 | 9:00 am | $480 for 16 Classes
Join Martha for an eight-week run/walk program starting December 6, where you can train and prepare for the Redondo Beach Super Bowl 5k/10k Race happening Sunday, February 12, 2023. Martha will meet with participants twice a week–Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00 am for one hour. All levels welcomed. 16 classes for $480.

Sessions will feature:
– Proper Warm-Up
– Foam Rolling and Stretching
– Strength Training specific to Runners/Walkers
– TRX Training specific to Runners/Walkers

Bay Club El Segundo | Kids Holiday Celebration
Saturday, December 17 | 1:00 pm–4:00 pm | Sign-ups coming soon!
Kids and parents alike will have a blast mingling with friends at this fun, complimentary holiday party.

Bay Club Santa Monica | Small Group Training Boot Camp
$792 for 12 sessions
Join fitness trainer Afolabi Ajumoei in this goal-oriented workout that will challenge your aerobic and anaerobic capacity. This small-group training session will get you out of your comfort zone and kick start your 2023 fitness goals. Facilities and Operations Updates

Bay Club Redondo Beach | Men’s Sauna Closure
The Men’s Sauna at Bay Club Redondo Beach will be closed from Wednesday, November 30-Thursday, December 8 for renovation.

Bay Club Redondo Beach | Spa Closure
The Spa at Bay Club Redondo Beach will continue to be closed for maintenance through Monday, December 5. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this project.

Bay Club El Segundo | Pool Closure
The Adult Pool at Bay Club El Segundo will be closed from Monday, December 12 through Tuesday, January 3 for re-plastering.

Guest Passes
Now is the time to bring your family and friends to the Club! This is your friendly reminder that any unused guest passes, and golf rounds will expire at the end of the year.

Executive Locker Rentals
Ever envisioned having your own personal, private locker at the Bay Club? A locker exclusively for your use only? A place where you can stash your gear without toting it to and from home all the time? Well, now you can have one! We now have Executive Lockers available on a month-to-month basis.

Holiday Happiness Toy Drive

Join us in supporting Toys for Tots now through December 20th. For other fun and easy ways to bring happiness to a child in our community this season, keep reading!

3 Easy Ways to Donate
–  Bring a brand-new, unopened, unwrapped toy of your choice to the club and place it in the Toys for Tots box.

–  Don’t know what toy to buy? Pick up one of our gift-idea tags at the Club and shop for the toy listed on the tag.

–  Simply fill out this form with your donation amount. All monetary donations will be used to purchase a brand-new toy that will be donated to Toys for Tots.

About Toys for Tots
The 2022 holiday season marks the 75th anniversary of the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program! For over seven decades, the program has delivered hope and the magic of Christmas to over 281 million children.

Our goal this year is to help Toys for Tots in their mission by delivering 6,500 toys across our Bay Club communities.

Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charity. Donations are tax deductible. For toy purchases under $250 your store receipt is acceptable for IRS donation. For cash donations Bay Club will email a receipt for your donation by December 31,2022.
